Job summary

PURIS is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to drive FSQR initiatives and ensure compliance across production operations. You will maintain the SQF QMS, verify preventive controls, and coordinate product releases while generating COAs that meet customer requirements.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of related QA experience desirable.
• PCQI, HACCP and SQF Practitioner certifications or pending in 6 months.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, SharePoint).

Responsibilities

• SQF Practitioner: oversee the SQF QMS to meet GFSI standards and maintain document control.
• PCQI: maintain working knowledge about the Food Safety Plan and verify preventive controls.
• Test Evaluation and Coordination: review Laboratory Information System (LIMS) results and ensure testing accuracy.
• Product Release Management: verify product compliance to FSQR standards and coordinate releases within timelines.
• COA Generation: generate certificates of analysis aligning with customer requirements.
• FSQR Process Optimization: identify improvements and support FSQR team with new procedures.
• Incident Management: support root cause analysis for preventive control failures and deviations.
• Documentation and Records Maintenance: maintain audit-ready FSQR records and QA documentation.
