Job summary

Pratt Industries, Inc. in La Vergne, TN is seeking a Plant Administrator to support inbound/outbound logistics, invoicing, and vendor payments. You will record loads, schedule shipments, code invoices, and maintain accurate logs under the supervision of the Plant Manager.

Qualifications

• Must have strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to listen carefully and convey information clearly.

Responsibilities

• Create POs for plant expenses and ensure Goods Receipt is recorded.
• Code invoices to correct GL accounts and cost centers.
• Process invoices through Open Text for timely vendor payments.
• Research and resolve discrepancies in invoices and related issues.
• Ensure proper paperwork (bills of lading, etc.) accompanies shipments.
• Assist scale administrator with inbound/outbound load questions.
• Track daily receipts and schedule outbound loads.
• Monitor inventory and report month-end figures and waste calculations.
• Lead reconciliation of received and shipped loads; run related reports.
