Job summary

CROWN Cork & Seal USA, Inc., a Crown Holdings, Inc. subsidiary, is seeking an Accounting Manager in Dayton, OH. You will lead cost optimization, uphold internal controls, and unlock insights to keep our production lean and profitable.

The role oversees month-end processing, financial reporting, reconciliations, payroll, sales commissions, and accounts payable, with ~10% overnight travel. Packaging industry experience and AS400/ERP familiarity are preferred requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• Solid understanding of accounting concepts and GAAP.
• ERP system experience.
• Three years plant manufacturing experience.
• Approximately 10% overnight travel.
• May require evening or weekend hours.

Responsibilities

• Compiles and analyzes financial information to prepare journal entries.
• Prepares GL Account and Bank Reconciliations.
• Prepares financial statements and reports to summarize the company's financial position.
• Maintains Accounting Policy database.
• Oversees payroll and AP functions.
• Assists in preparing for internal and external audits.
