Job summary

Creative Financial Staffing, LLC is seeking a Staff Accountant - Manufacturing in Waco, TX. The role focuses on plant-level accounting, monthly close, variance analysis, inventory costing, and KPI reporting. You will support the Manufacturing Finance Manager and help improve financial processes.

Candidates should have a BS in Accounting or Finance, 1–2 years in manufacturing, strong Excel and ERP experience (Oracle), and attention to detail.

Qualifications

BS/BA Degree in Accounting or Finance.
1–2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
Strong attention to detail and pride in work output.
Excellent communication skills and desire to grow in financial management.

Responsibilities

Review vendor invoices and perform monthly reconciliations to ensure accuracy of plant expenses.
Analyze direct and overhead expenses versus budget, forecast, prior month, and prior year.
Maintain inventory accuracy including receiving, month-end counts, adjustments, usage, and costing.
Maintain daily KPI report for Plant Metrics.
Perform monthly close, related journal entries, and financial statement prep.
Assist Manufacturing Finance Manager in quarterly budget prep and standard cost setting.
Capitalize Fixed Assets and manage related documentation.
Provide ad-hoc support to management as required.
