Job summary

EnerSys is seeking an EHS Technician for Plant 2 on the D shift to assist the Sr. Safety Engineer in maintaining safe, healthy, and compliant working conditions within the Springfield facility.

You will help monitor airborne lead, conduct audits, and support training and data management, contributing to a strong safety culture. The role requires two years of related manufacturing or industrial safety experience, with exposure to safety programs and data analysis.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing, industrial safety or industrial hygiene (min 2 years).
• Basic algebra, measurement conversions and calibration concepts.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint; CAOHC cert a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor airborne lead and safety-related data as directed.
• Conduct safety audits, training and noise dosimetry.
• Maintain safety databases and prepare reports.
