Responsibilities

• Examine and review permits, plans and specifications to determine compliance for building permits.
• Review engineered projects for FEMA regulations and flood resistant construction.
• Interprets code requirements for contractors and homeowners; assists with updates.
• Calculates and assigns permit fees and coordinates inspections.
