As a PLANS AND READINESS OFFICER at the GS-0301-13 some of your typical work assignments may include: Serves on the Deployment Readiness team with the 35 Future Operations Division Tracks the readiness levels of the deployable teams and individuals Creates and present briefing slides to senior leaders Schedules training sessions available for the entire agency for weapons qualification, medical clearance, ISOPREP, and other pre-deployment activities Completes products and reports on a variety of computer based programs and applications Participates in military exercises as a subject-matter-expert on deployment readiness Supports high-tempo, real-world crisis operations
Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
