You will handle administrative and technical tasks for planning and development activities, process applications, coordinate information, and help ensure smooth reviews. This role emphasizes organization, customer service, and problem solving while engaging with the public.

Qualifications

• One year of clerical experience, including data entry and customer service.
• Strong organization, accuracy, and attention to detail are required.
• Familiarity with GIS viewers and basic land descriptions is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Assist with land use and special event permit applications, including intake, review, fee collection, routing to reviewers, notices, scheduling, recording, issuing permits, and file closure.
• Review applications for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with submittal requirements.
• Schedule hearings, create and publish agendas.
• Coordinate physical and virtual meeting setup and notices.
