Help shape the future of Larimer County! Join the Larimer County Community Development Department as a Planning Technician, where you'll support the Planning Division and play an important role in helping residents, businesses, and the community navigate the development process.
In this role, you'll provide administrative and technical support for planning and development activities, including processing development review and special event applications, coordinating information, and helping ensure applications move efficiently through the review process. You'll work closely with applicants, property owners, staff, and other stakeholders while gaining exposure to land use planning and community development.

This position typically works Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., with the opportunity for a hybrid work schedule after successfully completing the probationary period. Occasional evening support for public hearings and meetings is also required.
