Responsibilities

• Responds to public requests for information related to the city's Development Code and regulations.
• Advises applicants and citizens on current zoning of property.
• Assists with intake and review of land use applications.
• Reviews minor development plans and building permits for remodeling and accessory structures.
• Gathers data and prepares planning reports for public hearings and meetings.
• Interacts with the public, landowners, developers, staff, boards and commissions.
• Conducts field inspections to verify compliance with approved plans and conditions.
• May prepare staff reports and present at Planning Commission or Board hearings.
