Westinghouse Electric Company is seeking a Planning Specialist I for the Westinghouse Parts Business at the New Stanton, PA facility. You will support the fulfillment team to ensure timely delivery of mechanical and breaker products for nuclear plants worldwide, in a dynamic, mission-driven environment.

The role reports to the Planning Manager and requires onsite work five days a week for the first six months, with potential to work remotely 1–2 days weekly after training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, technical, or related field.
• 0–2 years of planning experience or equivalent education.
• Equivalent combination of experience and education will be considered.
• SAP experience in production, requisitioning, and material master data is a plus.
• Familiarity with contract review and interpretation is desirable.
• Basic understanding of mechanical/electrical manufacturing drawings is a bonus.

Responsabilités

• Track and forecast order progress in the MRP system.
• Prioritize requests and communicate with stakeholders.
• Support production with shop travelers and in-house builds.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering, the Assistant Area Manager, and technicians to estimate labor and lead times for proposals.
• Coordinate with Engineering and Supply Chain to requisition materials.
• Ensure quality by aligning with Quality Control.
• Optimize inventory with Inventory Planning.

As aPlanning Specialist Iwith the Westinghouse Parts Business (WPB) you will support the WPB Fulfillment team in our New Stanton, PA facility. You’ll play a key role in ensuring timely and efficient delivery of mechanical and breaker products that support the safety and reliability of nuclear plants worldwide. You will report to the Planning Manager. This is an anchor position that will be expected onsite 5 days a week for the first 6 months. Once through the training phase, you will have flexibility to work remotely 1-2 days per week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Track & Forecast: Monitor order progress and maintain accurate updates in the Westinghouse MRP system.
• Prioritize Smartly: Evaluate work requests, assign priorities, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• Support Production: Issue shop travelers and pick lists for in-house build projects.
• Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work with Manufacturing Engineering, the Assistant Area Manager, and technicians to estimate labor and lead times for proposals.
• Coordinate Resources: Partner with Engineering and Supply Chain to requisition materials and services.
• Ensure Quality: Align with Quality Control to prioritize inspections.
• Optimize Inventory: Work with Inventory Planning to manage stocking levels and lot sizes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, technical, or related field
• 0–2 years of planning experience (or equivalent education/experience)
  • Equivalent combination of experience and education will be considered
• SAP experience (production, requisitioning, material master data) is a plus.
• Familiarity with contract review and interpretation is desirable.
• Basic understanding of mechanical/electrical manufacturing drawings is a bonus.

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications, and skills, is estimated to be $54,000.00 to $67,500.00 per year.
