Job summary

Stored Energy Systems, LLC in Longmont, CO is seeking a Manager of Planning & Scheduling to lead and develop the scheduling team and own end-to-end planning across product lines.

You will drive S&OP discussions, optimize APS/MRP settings in SyteLine, and partner with IT and leadership to scale the planning function during growth. A strong background in manufacturing scheduling and leadership is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or 4+ years of related experience.
• 8+ years in production scheduling or related planning roles in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven people management or leadership experience.
• Hands-on experience with ERP/MRP systems; Infor SyteLine preferred.
• Strong knowledge of BOMs, lead times, capacity planning, and exception messages.
• Excellent cross-functional communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow the planning and scheduling team, including Master Scheduler and Operations Planner roles.
• Set performance expectations and coach for professional growth of team members.
• Own planning and scheduling performance across all product lines, including on-time delivery and forecast accuracy.
• Represent Planning & Fulfillment in S&OP and capacity discussions with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Own SyteLine's APS/MRP settings and capacity data with IT and the Director of Planning & Fulfillment.
• Serve as escalation point for scheduling conflicts and cross-functional priorities.
• Assist in scheduling duties as the team grows and processes mature.
• Drive root-cause problem-solving and document issues at their source.
• Build and maintain SOPs and training materials for planning processes.
• Lead recurring planning reviews and present to senior leadership.
• Own headcount planning and hiring for the planning function.
