Job summary

Simple Modern is seeking a data-focused planning professional to analyze stockouts, forecast demand and support assortment decisions. You will review eCommerce and retail performance, monitor inventory health, and coordinate with Operations to address supply constraints.

You will build analyses on product performance, explain changes to forecasts, and contribute to weekly variance reporting with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with Excel and data sets.
• Curious and willing to solve ambiguous problems.
• Able to explain your analysis out loud and defend the assumptions in it.

Responsibilities

• Analyze stockouts on eCommerce and measure transfer of demand to in-stock products by product type.
• Review physical retail performance by store to identify best sellers and drivers.
• Assist in Amazon PO review and weekly inventory coverage checks.
• Monitor inbound containers and communicate urgency to support Operations.
• Build analyses tracking design performance relative to average and explain variance to forecasts.
