Job summary

Randa Apparel & Accessories (RAA) is seeking a Planning Intern in Chicago to support the Demand and Inventory Planning team. This 10-week program exposes you to forecasting, replenishment planning, and business analytics while collaborating with multiple locations.

You will assist with demand planning, inventory reporting, and project work, gaining exposure to retail and wholesale components of our business. In-office schedule applies, with structured mentorship and final presentations.

Qualifications

• Students pursuing Supply Chain Management, Business, Marketing, or Math majors are encouraged to apply.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher required.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Learn the fundamentals of forecasting and inventory planning for product categories.
• Analyze statistical forecast models in the supply chain planning system to ensure the system is developing the best forward forecast.
• Build and review inventory reports to identify low-volume SKUs that need to be exited at our retail partners.
• Build and review aged inventory reports and work with the sales team on a selling strategy.
• Participate and collaborate in internal meetings and projects.
• Work in-office Monday-Friday, Friday being a half-day.

Schedule: In-Office, Monday - Thursday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Friday 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM / 30-minute lunch every day

Sales Planning Intern Duties and Responsibilities

Project

Interns will be assigned a group project and a mentor to help provide coaching & support throughout the project. The project will be presented in the final week to various leaders within the organization. The goal is to research and present a solution or recommendation based on white space within the company. This will give interns an opportunity to work with cross-functional departments and individuals across our multiple locations to put together a solution to create a positive change.
