Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Learning & Development leader to drive the planning function's capabilities. You will design and oversee a full L&D ecosystem, including onboarding for new hires, and collaborate across Product, Strategy, and Operations to modernize planning processes.

Your role focuses on measurable learning impact, adoption metrics, and aligning training with merchandising changes and business outcomes.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree or equivalent experience.
• 5–8 years of relevant experience in Merchandise Planning with L&D, PM, Inventory Management, or Change Management preferred.
• Strong understanding of Planning processes and business operations.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence without direct authority.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, project management, and stakeholder management skills.
• Self-directed with the ability to navigate ambiguity, prioritize effectively, and drive results.

Responsibilities

• Lead the strategy, design, and execution of learning programs that build Planning capabilities and accelerate business readiness.
• Design and implement a comprehensive Planning Learning and Development ecosystem.
• Lead Planning onboarding and learning programs by owning the end-to-end new hire experience.
• Design and maintain scalable learning resources.
• Enable Planning modernization by partnering with Product, Strategy, Operations, and cross-functional business teams.
• Measure and continuously improve learning effectiveness through feedback, adoption metrics, and business outcomes.
• Represent Planning and total PIM in merchandising change, engagement and training alignment.
