Job summary

Gilbarco Veeder-Root, a Vontier company, seeks an entry-level Materials Assistant to support the Materials team in Altoona, PA. The role focuses on cycle counts, Kanban, and accuracy of material identification, with opportunities to learn and grow within a large manufacturing network.

You will perform cycle counts, reconcile variances, manage Kanban and audits, and ensure proper material identification. We value math skills, teamwork, and proficiency in Excel; training provided.

This position is located in the Altoona, PA.

Purpose of Position

The purpose of this position is to provide assistance to the Materials team as stated below. The addition of this position will allow the Planners and Senior planners the time necessary to complete additional work required to close the many gaps we are faced with in the current supply chain.
