Job summary

KBR is seeking a Planning & Scheduling Manager to develop, maintain, and analyze the Integrated Master Schedule across engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and permitting activities.

This role coordinates schedule activities to ensure a single integrated execution plan, provides forecast, critical path analysis, and recovery recommendations to project leadership; leads planning team and promotes scheduling excellence and best practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 15 years of planning and scheduling experience supporting major capital projects.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and managing integrated schedules for large industrial, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, life sciences, energy, or infrastructure projects.
  • Extensive experience with CPM scheduling, schedule forecasting, critical path analysis, progress measurement, and schedule recovery planning.
  • Experience coordinating schedule development across multiple contractors, disciplines, and project stakeholders.
  • Advanced proficiency with Primavera P6 and related scheduling and schedule analysis tools.

Responsibilities

  • Lead development, maintenance, and governance of the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) across all project phases.
  • Coordinate and integrate schedule activities across engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, permitting, and startup organizations.
  • Ensure alignment of contractor schedules with project milestones, execution strategies, and overall project objectives.
  • Perform schedule forecasting, critical path analysis, progress measurement, and schedule risk assessments.
  • Identify schedule risks and delays and develop recovery plans, mitigation strategies, and corrective action recommendations.
  • Provide schedule performance reporting, trend analysis, and schedule insights to project leadership.
  • Facilitate schedule reviews and support data-driven decision-making regarding project execution priorities.
  • Lead and develop the planning and scheduling team while promoting scheduling excellence and best practices.

Planning and Scheduling Manager

KBR is looking for a Planning & Scheduling Manager to be responsible for development, maintenance, and analysis of the Integrated Master Schedule. The role coordinates schedule activities across engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and permitting organizations, ensuring all workstreams operate to a single integrated execution plan. The position provides schedule forecasting, critical path analysis, and schedule recovery recommendations to project leadership.

Functional job responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting pharmaceutical, biotechnology, life sciences, or other regulated manufacturing projects.
  • Experience in an Owner’s Representative, PMC, EPCM, or Integrated Project Management Team (IPMT) environment.
  • Experience supporting large projects with multiple phases exceeding $500 million TIC.
  • Experience with schedule risk analysis tools and quantitative schedule risk assessment methodologies.
  • Professional certifications such as PSP®, PMP®, or equivalent project controls credentials.
