Job summary

Powerus seeks a hands-on deputy-level Supply Chain Planner to translate demand, commitments and capacity into a single executable plan. You will own daily planning and drive actions in a high-volume hardware environment, with accountability for schedule adherence and material readiness.

You will lead S&OP cycles, coordinate with procurement, manufacturing and engineering, and push for rapid recovery actions when bottlenecks appear.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience planning high-volume production with frequent schedule changes and daily accountability for material availability.
• 8+ years in production planning, materials or supply chain within complex manufacturing.
• Ownership of S&OP, master scheduling and MRP in a growing business, improving delivery and inventory control.
• Strong knowledge of capacity planning, BOMs, lead times, inventory policies and engineering change control.
• Advanced Excel and ERP capability; able to build dashboards and explain data limitations.
• Experience in electronics, electromechanical products, automotive, or hardware manufacturing.

Position Overview

Lead sales and operations planning and translate demand, customer commitments and production capacity into one executable supply plan. This is a hands-on deputy-level role within supply chain: building the planning discipline, challenging assumptions and resolving constraints as Powerus scales complex hardware production. Support the supply chain leader and act on delegated operational priorities without waiting to be prompted. We need people who have delivered in high-volume, fast-paced environments and can convert priorities into action in hours and days.

Key Responsibilities

• Own a daily planning rhythm that converts demand changes and shortages into decisions, revised priorities and recovery actions within hours, while maintaining a credible forward supply plan.
• Establish and run a monthly S&OP cycle covering demand review, supply and capacity review, financial reconciliation and executive decisions, with named owners and a closed action log.
• Maintain a rolling demand view that distinguishes booked orders, probability-based opportunities, development demand and approved inventory builds; document assumptions and scenario changes.
• Translate approved demand into a master production schedule and time-phased material requirements; align purchasing and manufacturing on realistic priorities and delivery dates.
• Review MRP exceptions, shortages and capacity constraints with buyers and production; drive daily recovery actions and a weekly execution review linked to the approved plan.
• Maintain planning parameters, lead times, safety stock, order quantities and schedule time fences in the ERP; partner with engineering on accurate bills of materials and revision effectivity.
• Model upside, downside and constrained supply scenarios, presenting service, cash, capacity and cost tradeoffs for timely leadership decisions.
• Coordinate material readiness for new products and engineering changes, managing phase-in, phase-out, excess and obsolete inventory exposure.
• Publish a reliable planning dashboard covering delivery commitments, schedule adherence, inventory health, forecast bias and material availability; define measures consistently with finance and operations.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience planning high-volume production with frequent schedule changes, short decision cycles and daily accountability for material availability and build execution.
• 8 or more years in production planning, materials or supply chain within complex manufacturing, including meaningful team or workstream leadership.
• Demonstrated ownership of S&OP, master scheduling and MRP in a growing business, with evidence of improving delivery performance and inventory control.
• Strong working knowledge of capacity planning, dependent demand, bills of materials, lead times, inventory policies and engineering change control.
• Advanced Excel and ERP capability; able to build practical dashboards and explain data limitations, assumptions and business tradeoffs to senior leaders.
• Experience in electronics, electromechanical products, automotive, industrial technology, aerospace or similarly demanding hardware manufacturing.

Preferred Experience

ASCM CPIM or CSCP certification; experience establishing planning processes during factory ramp-up, introducing ERP workflows, or using SQL and business intelligence tools.

Leadership and Scope

• Lead the planning workstream and coach planners as the team grows; establish clear priorities, decision deadlines and accountability for execution.
• Support the supply chain leader with cross-functional coordination and escalation; exercise deputy authority only within explicitly delegated responsibilities.

Powerus operates in hours and days. Take ownership immediately, anticipate the next constraint and deliver without being chased. Make timely, evidence-based decisions; communicate blockers as they emerge with a proposed solution, an owner and a recovery time. Move workstreams in parallel and follow every commitment through to completion. Use approved AI and analytical tools to reduce manual work, verify outputs and protect sensitive information.

Travel Requirements

Occasional travel to suppliers and company sites may be required according to operational needs.

Education and Relevant Experience

A relevant degree in supply chain, business, engineering or a related field is valued. Equivalent relevant professional, technical or military experience will be considered; demonstrated capability and delivery matter.
