Job summary

Johnsonville is seeking a motivated Planning Analytics Intern to join the Planning & Analytics team. You will gain hands-on experience with analytics tools to support planning processes, forecast accuracy, and business performance.

You will work with demand, supply, and commercial planning teams to turn raw data into insights, develop dashboards, and document methodologies for repeatable analysis.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in a related field with junior or senior status preferred.
• Minimum GPA of 3.5 preferred.
• Proficiency in Excel; exposure to SQL, Python, R, or BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in building, maintaining, and improving planning reports, dashboards, and analytics tools.
• Analyze historical performance and identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in demand, supply, and inventory data.
• Support statistical and driver-based forecasting models, evaluating accuracy and bias across horizons.
• Partner with planning teams to assess assumptions, scenario outcomes, and KPIs.
• Document methodologies, workflows, and findings for knowledge sharing and repeatability.
• Conduct ad-hoc analyses to address specific business questions.
