Job summary

Johnsonville, LLC. is seeking a motivated Planning Analytics Intern for Summer 2027 in Sheboygan Falls, WI. You will work with the Planning & Analytics team to turn raw data into actionables, support forecasting models, and learn BI tools.

You'll gain hands-on experience with real planning data, collaborate across demand, supply, and commercial planning, and receive mentorship from analytics professionals in a fast-paced CPG environment.

Qualifications

• Candidate pursuing a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with junior or senior status preferred.
• Proficiency in Excel; exposure to SQL, Python, R, or BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in building, maintaining, and improving planning reports, dashboards, and analytics tools.
• Analyze historical performance and identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in demand, supply, and inventory data.
• Support statistical and driver-based forecasting models, helping evaluate accuracy and bias across different horizons.
• Partner with planning teams to assess assumptions, scenario outcomes, and performance against KPIs.
• Document methodologies, workflows, and findings for knowledge sharing and repeatability.
• Conduct ad-hoc analyses to address specific business questions and operational challenges.

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Planning Analytics Intern to join our Planning & Analytics team. In this role, you will gain hands‑on experience using advanced analytics, statistical models, and business intelligence tools to support our planning processes. You’ll work closely with our demand, supply, and commercial planning teams to turn raw data into actionable insights that improve forecast accuracy, enable better decision‑making, and drive business performance.

Education

• Candidate must currently be working towards a Bachelor’s degree in a Computer Science, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Statistics, Economics, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems or a related field. Junior or senior status preferred.

Experience

• Prior work experience preferred.


• Proficiency in Excel; exposure to SQL, Python, R, or BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) a plus.

Skills

• Strong analytical skills and ability to work with large data sets.


• Interest in Commercial Planning, supply chain planning, business analytics, and forecasting.


• Strong attention to detail, problem‑solving ability, and intellectual curiosity.


• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
