Job summary

Vishay Spectrol, part of Vishay Intertechnology, Inc., seeks a Temp-to-Hire Planner Analyst to coordinate sales demand through production planning and procurement, providing schedules to meet customer requirements and inventory goals. The role is on-site in Ontario, CA, with potential travel to the Mexicali facility and collaboration across Purchasing, Quality, Engineering, and Logistics.

• 5 years of experience with purchasing, planning and material management/systems (SAP and manufacturing environment preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in related discipline preferred.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills and the ability to work cross-functionally.

Responsibilities

• Develop production schedules against sales demand and capacity to support monthly sales schedule and customer dates.
• Order materials to support the plan and coordinate timely receipt with Purchasing, Stockroom and Production.
• Review and adjust material scheduling to ensure uninterrupted production and align with customer changes and inventory goals.
• Maintain planning reports and information as required.
• Travel to Mexicali facility as needed and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
