Responsibilities

• Provide merchandising analysis to support development of detailed category plans and strategies for upcoming category space changes and company initiatives.
• Deliver clear, concise space planning design documents that communicate merchandising strategy and category specifics.
• Show proficiency in category planning software and Lowe’s internal systems and processes (systems & analytics expert).
• Create and timely deliver merchandising plans to support company initiatives and documented strategy.
• Serve as trusted advisor in delivering space productivity analysis to support merchandising strategy.
• Conduct advanced analysis to develop a customer-centric approach to merchandising plans.
• Partner cross-functionally to shape strategic direction using analytical tools; identify category opportunities to boost productivity.
• Proactively solve problems, mitigate risk, and improve program delivery to stores.
• Lead process improvement efforts and recommend ways to optimize workflow efficiencies.
• Collaborate and communicate across the organization; build vendor partnerships that support corporate strategies.
• Demonstrate thought leadership on evolving concepts and business needs.
• Exhibit team leadership amongst contract & Lowe’s Bangalore Support Center associates and influence engagement.

Your Impact

Responsible for developing category merchandising strategies through cross-functional collaboration that drive productivity and sales.

What You Will Do

• Responsible for providing merchandising analysis that support the development of detailed category plans & strategies for upcoming category space changes and company initiatives.
• Responsible for timely delivery of clear, concise space planning design documents that communicate merchandising strategy & category specific details.
• Exhibits a high degree of proficiency in category planning software, Lowe’s internal systems & processes. (systems & analytics expert)
• Accountable for the creation and timely delivery of merchandising plans to support company initiatives and deliver on documented strategy.
• Seen as a trusted advisor in the delivery of space productivity analysis in support of the merchandising strategy.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree Business, Architecture, Interior Design, Retail Management, or related field or equivalent years of experience in lieu of education requirement, if applicable
• 3 Years Experience in retail store planning and design (may be a combination of visual merchandising, store planning, planogramming, real estate & facilities planning, or store environment experiences)
