Job summary

Westrichland in Richland, WA is seeking a planning professional to perform technical work related to short- and long-range planning, land use permitting, zoning and development issues. The role supports environmental policy administration and the implementation of the City’s Comprehensive Plan and development regulations.

Qualifications include a BA in planning or related field, with a Master’s Degree preferred, and at least two years of experience in land use planning or related fields.

• Draft zoning regulations; prepare staff reports for Planning Commission and City Council; engage the public in land use processes.
