Job summary

Weyerhaeuser in Simsboro, LA seeks a Planner/Scheduler to lead maintenance planning for the Arcadia OSB facility. You will work with maintenance supervisors, planners and technicians to build the two-week rolling maintenance list and schedule work based on priority and parts availability.

Requires a HS diploma, strong safety mindset, excellent communication, experience with SAP/CMMS, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Willingness to flexibility and travel to other mills for training.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma/GED or higher.
• Safety conscious with strong communication and teamwork.
• Experience with SAP and CMMS; safety-focused leader.
• Good knowledge of equipment, preventive maintenance, and downtime activities.
• Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Populate the rolling maintenance work list at least 2 weeks in the future.
• Schedule work by priority, ease, and parts availability.
• Coordinate with planners to prep smaller work items.
• Ensure shift technicians have work assigned and track completion.
• Help establish and supervise the kitting process.
• Coordinate with Storeroom to ensure parts readiness.
• Use computer-based programs to prioritize maintenance requests and manage inventory.

DescriptionWeyerhaeuser Company is searching for a Planner/Scheduler for the Arcadia Oriented Strand Board (OSB) facility in Simsboro, Louisiana. Arcadia OSB is located in the Sportsman's Paradise of Lincoln Parish in north central Louisiana. It is situated near Ruston and Grambling, Louisiana, home to Louisiana Tech and Grambling State Universities. The mill is located 20 minutes west of Ruston, 45 minutes west of Monroe, 55 minutes east of Shreveport, and an hour south of the Louisiana/Arkansas state line. You will also be eligible for our Annual Incentive Program, which offers a cash bonus targeting 5% of base pay.
