Flextronics - The Flex Company in Milpitas, CA is seeking a Planner Scheduler to support production planning and order management. You will coordinate build plans, inputs into ERP, and ensure materials, capacity and routing align with production needs.

Responsibilities include monitoring plan execution, re-planning when needed, maintaining BOM data, and generating KPI reports. You’ll collaborate with SC and Master Scheduler, support RMA and rework, and help keep on-time shipping.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience with ERP systems and production planning.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and databases.

Responsibilities

• Check order fulfillment feasibility based on resources (materials, personnel, equipment).
• Prepare build plans and input planning data in ERP.
• Monitor plan execution and initiate actions for deviations.
• Maintain BOM, routing, and CFT data; replan as needed.
• Generate KPI reports and support inventory and cycles.
• Coordinate with Master Scheduler and support RMA and rework orders.
• Ensure compliance and training in manufacturing areas.

He / She would be responsible for leading the planners and schedulers, coordinating and approving product release to the production planning systems based on material and capacity availability. **Shift Hours: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm (M- F)****What a typical day looks like:*** Checking the possibility of order fulfillment based on the available resources (materials, employees, equipment etc.), confirmation of the order.* Preparation of Build plans, input of planning data using ERP and other simulation tools* Monitoring, control of implementation of plans, starting necessary actions in case of deviations, Engineering / Manufacturing Change Orders* Monitoring of system accuracy in daily/weekly bases /General Item data, routing, BOM, CFT data /non-consumed demand, planned WOs.* Review Clean to build reports, checking the material availability, replanning if necessary* Monitoring of stock level, handling of stock differences. Preparing management and CFT specificities reports, monitoring KPI’s* Giving assistance, replacement in certain cases to SCM and Order desk within the CFT.* Advises non-exempt associates regarding day-to-day priority of customer requests.* Monitors and proactively addresses issues that impact performance to committed ship date (CSD), lead-time, response time, and inventory goals.* Co-Ordinate with CFT and support PI and Cycle count* Support RMA and rework orders for internal and customer* Review and support Purge requests and MRB requests on day to day production* Coordinates and manages high-visibility and/or important customer programs. May include initial customer or product startup initiatives or large customer programs.* Coordinates with Master Scheduler to manage product life cycle and related materials availability issues.* Drives process improvements inside and outside the area of Order Management.* Provides input to management, reschedules, and /or interfaces with customer program management, master scheduling, customers and production control to reschedule production in the event of design changes, labor and material shortages, backlogs, and other potential schedule interruptions* Represents Production Order Management on various Customer Focus Teams.
