Job Description

Maintain day-to-day planning, ordering, and expediting of raw materials and supplies, and communicate results to all relevant departments. Schedule and maintain work center schedules to meet customer orders.

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree preferred
• Minimum 2 years experience in manufacturing
• Proficient in word processing and spreadsheets
• Knowledge of SAP, MRP, and PRMS
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Problem-solving skills related to stock issues with suppliers and internal teams
• Ability to multitask and stay calm in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities:

• Serve as a contact for sales and customer service
• Manage work center schedules and communicate changes
• Track and manage requisitions and update MRP systems
• Initiate and verify supplier corrective actions and purchase orders
• Negotiate pricing for materials
• Communicate stock status and lead times to relevant teams
• Record OTIF (On Time In Full) data

Additional Duties:

• Back-up for materials purchasing and graphics department
• Perform other tasks as assigned
