Position Summary

The Maintenance Planner ensures efficient maintenance operations through proactive planning, scheduling, and coordination of maintenance activities. This role requires a motivated, collaborative individual focused on equipment reliability, safety, and continuous improvement.

Work Hours: Monday - Friday/ 6:00AM - 2:30PM

  • Ensure maintenance activities meet safety and regulatory standards.
  • Lead daily/weekly maintenance planning meetings.
  • Administer the CMMS (MVP): manage work orders, equipment records, PM tasks, and inventory.
  • Generate and analyze KPIs: budget, labor, work order completion, and PM compliance.
  • Communicate work order status, priorities, and schedules to operations.
  • Manage maintenance planning: backlog, safety assessments, job hazard analyses, and production alignment.
  • Oversee storeroom inventory: cycle counts, variances, part levels, and critical spares.
  • Purchase parts and coordinate vendor maintenance services.
  • Conduct risk assessments to balance maintenance needs with budget.
  • Interpret technical documents, manuals, and schematics.
  • Standardize preventive/predictive maintenance across facilities.
  • Support operations with inventory, LOTO, PM, and general maintenance activities.
  • Assist Maintenance Manager with projects and capital improvements.
  • Provide after-hours emergency maintenance support.
  • Continuously optimize PM frequencies based on data and performance.
  • Manage purchasing, receiving, inventory records, and parts room organization.
  • Administer maintenance payroll and related administrative tasks.
  • Comply with all safety, security, sanitation and food safety requirements including safe work practices, OSHA requirements, and GMP's when in production areas. Report all safety, food safety or quality issues to supervisor or Food Safety department.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years in maintenance planning; inventory control experience preferred.
  • Experience across multiple trades: electrical, mechanical, HVAC, facilities.
  • High Speed Manufacturing / Packaging (2 years Minimum Exp)
  • Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office & CMMS systems required, MVP experience preferred
  • Food processing experience (SQL environment) preferred

We Offer

Compensation estimates are provided in good faith at the time of job posting. Job offers may vary based on the candidate’s education, certifications, job-related knowledge, skill, experience, geographic location, shift, and internal equity. Clyde’s may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

  • Target Hourly Wage: $35.00 - $45.00
  • Position is eligible for annual bonus

Work Environment and Job Physical Demands

  • Exposure to moving mechanical parts.
  • Exposure to wet and/or humid conditions.
  • Exposure to extreme hot conditions on such equipment as operating fryers and extreme cold conditions such as blast spiral freezers.
  • Exposure to noise, dust, and fumes.
  • Standing and walking on slippery floors.
  • Working in close proximity to equipment and other employees.
  • Lifting of up to 50 pounds and movement of equipment.
