Ascentec Engineering is seeking a Planner II to ensure material availability for production schedules and customer demand. You will review MRP output, coordinate with purchasing and production, and support timely job releases while reducing material shortages.

The role requires strong analytical skills, experience with ERP/MRP, and collaboration across multiple teams. This onsite position offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities for process improvements.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of material planning, production planning, purchasing, supply chain, or manufacturing support experience
• Experience using ERP systems to review MRP, demand, supply, inventory, jobs, and purchase orders
• Working knowledge of MRP logic, BOMs, routings, work orders, purchase orders, and inventory transactions
• Ability to identify material risks, recommend recovery actions, and communicate impacts clearly
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and data accuracy
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and planning reports

Responsibilities

• Review MRP output and identify planned orders, shortages, demand changes, supply gaps, and planning exceptions
• Validate supply and demand alignment using inventory, open POs, jobs, forecasts, and production schedules
• Own job readiness review including material availability, BOM alignment, routing readiness, and constraints
• Support timely release of jobs based on schedule need and material availability
• Escalate material risks and communicate impacts to leadership
