Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of a college or university program with planning focus; Master’s preferred.
• Strong knowledge of planning theories, zoning codes and research methods.
• Ability to prepare maps, charts and graphics for reports and meetings.

Responsibilities

• Perform rezoning analysis and General Plan research and analysis.
• Gather and correlate data for planning assignments.
• Assist in analysis and interpretation of planning and zoning data.
• Make recommendations on planning and zoning projects for staff review.
• Write reports and correspondence for each project phase.
• Present casework to boards and commissions as needed.
