Job summary

Prisma Graphic Corporation is seeking an experienced planner to support production tickets for digital and split print projects in Phoenix. The role includes creating Prepress layouts with Metrix, purchasing paper and dies, and coordinating with production managers and account managers to ensure timely deliveries.

Estimates for equipment or material changes will be revised in our Pace MIS system, with training provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 3+ years of experience in a print production environment.
• Solid knowledge of print industry production machinery and vendor capabilities.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, Internet and print MIS.

Responsibilities

• Review and process production tickets for digital and split print projects.
• Produce layouts for the Prepress department using Metrix software.
• Purchase paper, cutting/foil/embossing dies and outside vendor services.
• Coordinate with production managers to plan projects accurately and efficiently.
• Communicate with account managers about production schedules, paper availability and vendor timelines.
• Prepare revised estimates (P-estimates) for equipment or materials changes in the Pace MIS system.

Job Details: Level: Experienced, Job Location: Phoenix - Phoenix, AZ 85040, Position Type: Full Time, Salary Range: $20.00 - $25.00 Hourly, Job Shift: Day Shift, Prisma, a one-of-a-kind company dedicated to helping businesses power their message to market through marketing, print and direct response, has an opening for a planner, also performing some estimating duties.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Review and process production tickets for digital and split print projects.
• Produce layouts for the Prepress department using Metrix software program.
• Purchase paper, cutting/foil/embossing dies and outside vendor services.
• Communicate with production managers to plan projects accurately and efficiently.
• Communicate with account managers for any issues with production schedules, paper availability and any outside vendor schedules that may affect the delivery date of a print project.
• Produce revised estimates (P-estimates) for equipment or materials changes on projects (Estimating training provided) in our MIS system, Pace.
• Work in a fast-paced team environment and communicate effectively with other team members and departments.
• Determine the most efficient manner to manufacture complex projects, including revising production notes.
• Obtain the most competitive pricing available for materials and services, and purchase materials

Work Schedule:

9:00am to 6:00pm Daily- Monday thru Friday
