Job summary

Bardstown-Nelson County Planning and Zoning Commission is seeking a Planner to join our team. The successful candidate will support planning and development activities, conduct research and analysis, and prepare reports and recommendations for decision-makers.

Responsibilities include presenting at public meetings, recording minutes, and maintaining official records. Minimum 2 years of planning experience; education high school diploma or GED, Associate degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED; an Associate’s degree is preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years in planning-related work.
• Salary: $60,000 per year.

The successful candidate will play a key role in the planning and development activities of the Bardstown-Nelson County Planning and Zoning Commission.
