Brown and Root External is seeking an entry-level Planner 1 to assist in preparing, coordinating, and monitoring project plans and schedules. You will support senior planners by gathering data, developing basic work plans, and ensuring resources are allocated to meet timelines.

The role involves preparing work orders and schedules, using Primavera P6, MS Project, or CMMS, and communicating with supervisors about upcoming work and material needs.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or technical training preferred.
  • 0–2 years of experience in maintenance planning, project coordination, or a related field.
  • Basic knowledge of planning concepts and scheduling tools.
  • Familiarity with maintenance processes and/or construction workflows is a plus.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to read and interpret basic drawings and technical documents (desired).

Responsibilities

Planner 1 is responsible for assisting in the preparation, coordination, and monitoring of project plans and schedules. Planner 1 plays a key role in ensuring work is scheduled efficiently and that projects are completed on time and within budget.
