Job summary

Canfor seeks a Planermill Supervisor to lead a dedicated team on the day shift, Monday–Friday, with occasional weekend work. You will report to the Superintendent and drive KPI targets in safety, quality, cost, delivery, and employee engagement.

The role emphasizes maintaining OSHA compliance, coaching staff, and coordinating with other departments to meet production goals while promoting excellence and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years of supervisory experience in an industrial environment.
• Working knowledge of web-based computer applications and Microsoft Office.
• Grade 12 or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license.
• Maintenance experience and 2+ years in a planermill setting preferred.
