Job summary

Southernpalmettochamber is seeking a production supervisor for our Hampton, VA facility to lead safety programs and drive on-shift production toward throughput and recovery targets. You will ensure lumber grade compliance and packaging specifications while mentoring operators and support staff.

Responsibilities include coordinating with maintenance to minimize downtime and driving continuous improvement with strong operational discipline in a fast-paced sawmill environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of manufacturing or sawmill experience.
• 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to lead in a fast-paced production environment.
• Solid problem-solving and communication skills.
• Startup experience and lean manufacturing knowledge preferred.
