Job summary

Nova Biomedical in Waltham, MA is seeking a Manufacturing Assembly Operator to perform medium to high complexity assembly of planar-based biosensors for core analyzers. Under general supervision, you will support prototype builds and follow precise procedures.

The role requires a High School diploma, 3 years of manufacturing experience, strong math and communication skills, and ability to work with ISO/QSR standards. On-site with hybrid benefits.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or trade school equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong math, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Experience with QSR/ISO regulations and training (AP, TP, OI, OP) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform assembly operations using epoxies, solvents, and chemicals with high attention to detail.
• Work under a microscope for extended periods of time.
• Operate process equipment including auto dispensers, pipettes, laser cutters, and electroplating equipment.
• Follow assembly procedures, drawings, verbal instructions, and documentation to assemble products.
• Prepare and assemble sensor cards, including UV epoxying and packaging.
• Communicate issues clearly to management and engineering teams.
• Collaborate with team members, supervisors, and engineering teams.
