Job summary

Intel in Phoenix, AZ is hiring a Planar Module Equipment Technician to support wafer production, maintenance, and repair across Fab52/42/32/12. You will work with engineers, follow manuals, and troubleshoot to reduce defects.

The role offers a compressed 12-hour shift schedule (6:00–18:00) across multiple rotations. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma, 2+ years hands-on experience, and the ability to lift 25 pounds.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 2+ years of related hands-on experience or military technical experience.
• Experience performing hands-on preventative and corrective maintenance on semiconductor equipment.
• Ability to lift 25 pounds and climb ladders as part of shift tasks.
• Experience in technical/trade certification or STEM-related education is valued.

Responsibilities

• Perform functions related to wafer production including operations, equipment, process and training.
• Maintain, repair, troubleshoot equipment and reduce defects to support Fab objectives.
• Work from manuals and drawings using tools, test equipment and problem-solving skills.
• Participate in a compressed 12-hour shift schedule across multiple rotations (4/5/6/7).
