Stealth Law Firm in New York seeks a Workers' Compensation Attorney (Plaintiff/Applicant side) to manage a caseload from intake through resolution, handling hearings and depositions in the Workers' Compensation Board in Bronx, NY. You will draft and review legal documents and stay current on NY workers' compensation law.

The ideal candidate has a JD, NY Bar admission, 4+ years of workers' compensation experience, strong litigation, negotiation, and communication skills, and may provide Spanish

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active admission to the New York State Bar.
• 4+ years of workers' compensation or related practice experience.
• Strong litigation, negotiation, and courtroom advocacy skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Spanish proficiency is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of workers' compensation claims from intake through resolution.
• Represent clients at hearings, depositions, and proceedings before the Workers' Compensation Board.
• Draft and review legal documents, motions, briefs, and correspondence.
• Conduct legal research and stay current on New York workers' compensation law and regulations.
• Communicate regularly with clients, medical providers, and insurance carriers.
• Negotiate settlements and advocate for maximum client benefits.

Day-to-Day Responsibility:

• Manage a caseload of workers' compensation claims from intake through resolution
• Represent clients at hearings, depositions, and proceedings before the Workers' Compensation Board

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $180,000 – $270,000 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
