Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active license to practice law in the State of Texas (dual licensure in New Mexico is a significant plus).
• Strong and excellent writing ability.
• Experience: 1-5 years of civil litigation experience preferred; background in personal injury or labor & employment law preferred, but strong litigation instincts for trial practice.
• Bilingual English and Spanish (Se Habla Español) preferred.
• Mindset: strong ethics, work ethic, and accountability to the community.

Responsibilities

• Case Advocacy & Strategy: Manage an active civil litigation and employment law docket.
• Courtroom & Trial Prep: Draft pleadings, motions, depositions, and participate in trial preparation.
• Client Champion: Serve as a compassionate advocate guiding clients through stressful times.
• Negotiations & Damages: Prepare demand packages, assess damages, and participate in mediations.
