Qualifications

• Active member in good standing with the Florida Bar.
• 3+ years of plaintiff personal injury trial litigation experience.
• Strong knowledge of civil procedure and personal injury law.
• Experience handling litigation matters from pre-suit through trial preparation.
• Experience taking and defending depositions, attending hearings, and negotiating settlements.
• Proficient in case management software, including Filevine or similar platforms.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and courtroom advocacy skills.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional, dependable, and team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Manage a personal injury litigation caseload from inception through resolution.
• Maintain proactive communication with clients, referral sources, and prospective clients.
• Conduct regular file reviews and strategy meetings with litigation staff.
• Draft and argue motions, manage discovery, and oversee litigation strategy.
• Take and defend depositions, attend hearings, mediations, and court appearances.
• Prepare cases for trial and support all trial efforts, including courtroom preparation and litigation strategy.
• Assess case value and negotiate settlements in the best interest of clients.
• Monitor case deadlines and ensure compliance with court orders and procedural requirements.
• Collaborate with partners and staff to ensure proactive case movement and efficient file handling.
• Assist in training and mentoring litigation staff working on assigned files.
• Participate in networking and business development opportunities to support firm growth.
• Foster a positive, professional, and team-oriented work environment while delivering exceptional client service.
