LORD & CO in the Philadelphia metro area seeks a litigation associate with 2-5 years' experience to join its shareholder derivative practice. The firm handles complex securities and derivative matters for plaintiff-side clients and offers an opportunity to contribute to a sophisticated, busy practice.

In-office schedule Monday through Thursday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Base salary ranges from $115,000 to $165,000, with total compensation between $165,000 and $215,000 and upside potential.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of litigation experience in derivative or securities matters.
• Strong research and writing abilities essential.
• Demonstrated commitment to plaintiff-side litigation.

Responsibilities

• Handle shareholder derivative matters across all phases of litigation.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and briefs in complex corporate and securities matters.
• Conduct legal research and develop case strategy.
• Manage discovery, including drafting and responding to written discovery and reviewing document productions.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and contribute to the firm’s broader litigation practice.
