Newland & Newland, LLP, an Illinois-based law firm with offices in Arlington Heights and Libertyville, seeks a dedicated Plaintiff’s Personal Injury Attorney to join our growing practice. Main office is in Arlington Heights; hybrid work is available after training, with options in downtown Chicago or other offices.

The role requires a J.D., IL license, and 2–5 years of PI experience, including discovery, depositions, and negotiations.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice law in Illinois.
• 2–5 years of personal injury practice experience.
• Experience with discovery, depositions, court appearances, and motions preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for trials, hearings, and meetings.
• Conduct legal research to support case strategies and arguments.
• Review medical records, police reports, and other relevant documents.
• Prepare pleadings, discovery requests, and motions.
• Maintain accurate case and client records.
• Interview clients and witnesses to gather information.
• Ensure compliance with laws and regulations throughout the case.
• Collaborate with colleagues to facilitate effective communication.
