Job summary

Corvia Consulting in Seattle, WA is seeking a Plaintiff's Personal Injury Attorney to join our in-office team. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of plaintiff's PI experience and a passion for advocating for injured clients while managing cases from inception through resolution.

You will handle a caseload from pre-litigation to trial, negotiate settlements with insurers, draft pleadings and discovery, conduct depositions, and collaborate with case managers and support staff to deliver

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school is required.
• Active membership in good standing with the Washington State Bar.
• Minimum of 2 years of plaintiff's personal injury experience.
• Strong understanding of personal injury law and civil litigation.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of plaintiff's personal injury matters from pre-litigation through litigation.
• Communicate regularly with clients regarding case status and progress.
• Evaluate liability, damages, and case value for settlements or trial.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and legal correspondence.
• Conduct legal research and develop case strategies.
• Take and defend depositions and participate in mediations or hearings.
• Negotiate settlements with insurance companies and opposing counsel.
• Collaborate with case managers, paralegals, and support staff to deliver excellent client service.

Are you a motivated Plaintiff's Personal Injury Attorney looking to grow your career with a dynamic and client-focused law firm? We are seeking an attorney with at least 2 years of plaintiff's personal injury experience to join our Seattle office.

The ideal candidate is passionate about advocating for injured clients, has strong litigation and negotiation skills, and is comfortable managing cases from inception through resolution.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of plaintiff's personal injury matters from pre-litigation through litigation.
• Communicate regularly with clients regarding the status of their cases.
• Evaluate liability, damages, and case value.

• Attend mediations, arbitrations, hearings, and court appearances.

Required Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Active member in good standing with the Washington State Bar.
• Minimum of 2 years of plaintiff's personal injury experience.
• Strong understanding of personal injury law and civil litigation.
• Excellent legal writing, negotiation, and advocacy skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Ability to independently manage a caseload in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Trial experience is a plus.
• Experience handling catastrophic injury or wrongful death cases.
• Experience taking and defending depositions.
• Familiarity with case management software.
