Ascendo Resources in Nashville seeks an experienced Personal Injury Associate Attorney to join a growing plaintiff-side practice. You will handle motor vehicle liability and automobile accident cases in litigation, representing plaintiffs throughout Nashville and surrounding areas.

The role focuses on litigation, trial preparation, and trial, with limited pre-suit responsibilities. You will manage a high volume of cases, draft pleadings, work with experts, attend depositions and hearings, and

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active Tennessee Bar in good standing.
• 3+ years of personal injury, auto liability, or motor vehicle accident experience.
• Ability to manage a high volume of litigation cases.
• Strong legal writing and oral advocacy skills.
• Excellent client communication and service skills.
• Self-motivated with strong organizational and case management abilities.
• Competitive compensation package including base salary, non-recoverable draw, and commission/bonus opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Manage a high volume of personal injury litigation cases
• Draft and file pleadings, discovery requests and responses, demands, motions, and legal memoranda
• Guide plaintiff clients through the litigation process
• Work with expert witnesses, including conferences and preparation of expert reports and affidavits
• Prepare for and attend depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances
• Prepare cases for trial and participate in trial proceedings
• Maintain strong communication and client service throughout the litigation process
