gpac is recruiting a Legal Assistant/Paralegal for an in-office role in the Dadeland area of Miami, FL. The firm seeks an experienced professional to support two attorneys in active litigation, handling files from pre-suit through trial and coordinating hearings, discovery, and E-filing.

The position offers a competitive salary of 75,000–85,000 USD, annual bonus potential, and a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, paid vacation, parking, and a 401(k).

Qualifications

• Experience in plaintiff personal injury or civil litigation.
• Strong knowledge of Florida court procedures and E-filing systems.
• Ability to support multiple attorneys and manage deadlines independently.
• Excellent organizational skills and high attention to detail.
• Professional communication with clients, courts, and opposing counsel.

Responsibilities

• Manage case files from inception through trial, ensuring organization and compliance with court deadlines
• Draft pleadings, motions, subpoenas, and other litigation documents
• Coordinate and schedule hearings, depositions, mediations, and client meetings
• Facilitate written discovery, including preparation and organization of requests and responses
• Manage trial logistics, organize exhibits and evidence, and assist attorneys during trial
• Handle E-filing in Florida state and federal courts
