Job summary

Proper Law, PC seeks an Associate Litigation Attorney with 1+ years of litigation experience who will manage hearings, depositions, and discovery. Hybrid schedule after an initial 90-day onboarding, with in-office work 3 days and remote 2 days.

You will handle own caseload with case manager and paralegal support, and have a clear path to expert discovery and trial preparation. Competitive base salary $150,000 to $200,000 plus bonuses; benefits include medical insurance, PTO, Bar dues, and

Qualifications

• Active California State Bar license in good standing.
• 1+ years of litigation experience (personal injury, employment, lemon law, or similar).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage a caseload.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Attend case management conferences and law-and-motion hearings
• Prepare clients for and defend their depositions
• Draft motions and supporting papers
• Propound and respond to written discovery and meet and confer with opposing counsel
