TalentCloud Group in Oakland seeks a Litigation Attorney with 2-5 years of civil litigation experience to join its growing practice. You will gain hands-on experience through all stages of litigation, including discovery, motions, depositions, mediations, and trial preparation.

Qualifications

• Active California State Bar membership in good standing.
• 2-5 years of civil litigation experience.
• Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and advocacy skills.
• Excellent organizational and case-management abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating within a litigation team.

Responsibilities

• Handle a diverse range of civil litigation matters.
• Assist with cases involving public agencies, government tort liability, civil rights, constitutional law, personal injury, and complex civil disputes.
• Participate in all phases of litigation, from initial case evaluation through trial preparation.
• Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda, pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Manage discovery, including drafting and responding to written discovery and reviewing document productions.
• Support and participate in depositions, mediations, client meetings, and witness interviews.
• Assist with motion practice, court filings, and hearing preparation.
• Monitor case deadlines and ensure procedural compliance.
• Collaborate closely with partners and senior attorneys on strategy and case development.
• Contribute to trial preparation, including witness preparation and exhibit management.
