Job summary

Vizelia in Los Angeles is seeking an experienced Plaintiff-Side Employment Attorney to lead employee-rights cases from intake through resolution. You will handle FEHA, wage-and-hour, discrimination, and related disputes with strong advocacy, writing, negotiation, and trial readiness.

You will collaborate with partners and support staff, manage client expectations, and develop case strategy to achieve meaningful results for workers in California.

Qualifications

• 2–5+ years of employment litigation experience preferred; plaintiff-side experience strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of California employment law including FEHA, wage-and-hour, Labor Code, and PAGA.

Responsibilities

• Manage plaintiff-side employment matters from intake through settlement, arbitration, or trial.
• Evaluate claims, liability, damages, and case strategy.
• Conduct client interviews and provide ongoing legal advice.
• Draft complaints, discovery, motions, briefs, and settlement documents.
• Take and defend depositions; prepare for hearings, mediations, and trials.
• Represent clients before agencies such as CRD, EEOC, and Labor Commissioner.
• Maintain client communications and collaborate with partners and staff.
