L&W Recruiting, Inc. is seeking a Litigation Associate for its Philadelphia office to manage asbestos-related civil cases from discovery through trial with a collaborative, in-office team environment in Center City.

You will learn asbestos litigation end-to-end, handle depositions and motions, and maintain strong client relationships, supporting families during challenging times. Requires a PA bar admission and experience in civil plaintiff work.

Formación

• J.D. from ABA-accredited law school and Pennsylvania bar admission.
• 2–6 years of civil litigation; plaintiff-side preferred. Prior deposition and motion work appreciated, not required.
• Strong legal research and writing; works to deadlines in a fast-paced environment; committed to plaintiff work.
• Important: firm cannot consider candidates with asbestos-defense experience.

Responsabilidades

• Learn asbestos litigation end to end and take responsibility for your own cases quickly.
• Written discovery; taking and defending depositions; drafting and arguing motions; second-chair trial work.
• Significant client contact with families in the hardest stretch of their lives — empathy and rapport are the job, not a bonus.
