Job summary

Partners Legal Search seeks an Associate Attorney for its Pittsburgh office, with 2+ years of asbestos defense, toxic tort, product liability, or general civil defense experience. You will draft pleadings, take depositions, attend hearings, and contribute to trial preparation while advancing your litigation

Qualifications

• Active license to practice law in Pennsylvania.
• 2+ years of experience in asbestos defense, toxic tort, product liability, or general civil litigation.
• Admission in Ohio, New York, or West Virginia is highly desirable.
• Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
• Experience with motion practice, discovery, depositions, and client communications.
• Ability to manage litigation matters independently while working effectively as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Proactive, client-focused, and solution-oriented approach.

Responsibilities

• Draft pleadings, written discovery, dispositive motions, and other litigation documents.
• Conduct and defend depositions of fact and expert witnesses.
• Manage discovery and assist in developing litigation strategy.
• Attend court conferences, hearings, mediations, and settlement negotiations.

Our recruitment agency is partnering with a nationally recognized litigation firm seeking a motivated Associate Attorney with 2+ years of experience in asbestos defense, toxic tort litigation, product liability, or general civil defense to join its Pittsburgh office.

This is an excellent opportunity for a talented litigator to work on complex, high-value defense matters, gain meaningful courtroom and litigation experience, and develop their career alongside experienced trial attorneys in a collaborative, trial-focused environment.

What You’ll Do

• Asbestos and toxic tort litigation
• Product liability matters
• Premises liability and exposure claims
• Other complex and high-value civil litigation

Key Responsibilities

• Draft pleadings, written discovery, dispositive motions, and other litigation documents.

What We’re Looking For
