Working closely with the Director of the Center for Student Success, the Coordinator strengthens educator preparation by managing quality student teaching placements, fostering partnerships, guiding teacher candidates from program admission through licensure recommendation, maintaining accurate documentation for licensure, assessment, and accreditation, supporting licensure processes in collaboration with the CSS Director and Teacher Education Unit Accreditation Lead, and contributing to continuous improvement efforts.**Job Description****1. Teacher Education Placement and Partnership Management.** Coordinate and support the placement of teacher candidates in student teaching experiences in collaboration with school districts, community partners, faculty, department chairpersons, and Center personnel. Serve as a primary resource regarding student teaching and educator preparation requirements. Facilitate timely placement processes, communicate placement requirements and timelines, maintain placement records, and ensure the successful completion of student teaching requirements. Develop and maintain productive relationships with school district administrators, cooperating teachers, placement coordinators, and community partners to support high-quality student teaching experiences. Assist in the development, maintenance, and renewal of partnership agreements and affiliation documents related to clinical experiences. Recommend and implement improvements to placement processes and procedures that enhance student success, operational efficiency, and partner satisfaction.**2. Teacher Education Advising.** Provide advising and student support services to teacher candidates with emphasis on progression through professional education requirements, student teaching, graduation, licensure readiness, and program completion. Collaborate with faculty advisors, department chairpersons, and university offices to assist students in navigating academic, placement, and licensure processes. Communicate licensure requirements, deadlines, documentation requirements, and candidate responsibilities. Provide individualized assistance and referrals as appropriate.**3. Information Management and Compliance.** Monitor candidate readiness for student teaching and licensure by maintaining required documentation and supporting compliance processes, including background checks, liability insurance, student teaching records, and related requirements. Maintain accurate candidate records within institutional systems, including ELC/Tevera and related platforms, to support student progression and successful completion of educator preparation requirements. Collect, maintain, analyze, and report data related to placement, advising, candidate progression, and licensure requirements. Ensure accuracy and integrity of candidate records, clinical placement information, assessment documentation, and licensure-related data maintained within institutional systems. Facilitate licensure application, recommendation, and documentation processes in collaboration with the CSS Director and Teacher Education Unit Accreditation Lead.**4. Assessment, Accreditation, and Continuous Improvement Support.** Support assessment, accreditation, and continuous improvement activities related to educator preparation programs. Collaborate with the Director, Assessment Lead, Accreditation Lead, faculty, department leadership, and Teacher Education Unit stakeholders to maintain student teaching data, candidate assessment information, CPAST records, licensure documentation, and other evidence required for accreditation, licensure, and state reporting. Assist with data collection, reporting, analysis, documentation, and stakeholder feedback processes. Participate in efforts to improve systems, workflows, and outcomes related to candidate success and program effectiveness.**5.
